Objective:
You’ll rebrand a classic product for a completely new audience, using Adobe Express. The goal is to redesign the product’s branding to appeal to a different demographic, focusing on how the visual identity and messaging can be transformed to align with the lifestyle, values, and interests of the new audience. This exercise will help you understand how brands adapt to consumer culture shifts through design.

Choose a Classic Product:

Select a well-known product from a list provided (or choose your own). Examples could include iconic brands like Coca-Cola, Levi’s Jeans, Campbell’s Soup, Nike Air Force 1, or the Apple iPhone.

Consider the current target audience and how the product is traditionally marketed. What lifestyle or image does it represent right now?

Define a New Target Audience:

Think of a completely new demographic that the product doesn’t typically target. Examples could include rebranding Coca-Cola for eco-conscious millennials or reimagining Campbell’s Soup for high-end foodies.

Consider the lifestyle, values, and interests of this new audience. What do they care about? How will the product fit into their world?

Reimagine the Brand Identity:

Using Adobe Express, create a new visual identity for the product that appeals to your new audience. Think about:

Colors: What colors will attract this new demographic?

Use Adobe Express (or Adobe Illustrator/InDesign/Photoshop or Canva) to customize templates or start from scratch. Be creative and bold in your choices!

Present Your Rebrand:

Submit your ad to Canvas and complete the following in a reflection:

Who the new target audience is.

How you adapted the branding to fit their lifestyle.

What specific design choices you made (colors, typography, imagery) to appeal to the audience.
