Module 9
Exercise 9: Animation - Create an Animated Quote
Objective:
For this week’s project, you’ll be using Adobe Express to create a simple animated quote that means something to you. It could be an inspiring quote, a line from your favorite book, or just something personal that resonates with you. The idea here is to see how adding a bit of motion can really bring those words to life.

Steps:

Specifications:
-
Size: minimum 4"x4" (maximum 8.5"x11") (the size is up to you)
-
Software: Adobe Express
-
File Format: Submit a high-resolution JPG file of your final design
Start by picking your quote, then go into Adobe Express to design the layout. Think about how you want the text to look—what fonts, colors, and background images fit the vibe of your message? Keep it simple and clean, so the main focus stays on the words themselves. You may also use shapes/symbols as well as your type.

Once you’ve got your design in place, it’s time to add some animation. You’ll want to animate at least three parts of your design. That could be making the text fade in or slide across the screen, animating the background with some subtle movement, or even adding a little motion to shapes or icons that complement your quote. The animation doesn’t need to be super complicated—just enough to give your design a little extra something.
