Hi, I’m Cookie Redding.
I’m an artist, designer, and educator working at the intersection of art, design, and everyday creative practice.
My work moves between mixed media, collage, and digital processes, often using existing materials as a starting point. I’m interested in how ideas shift over time…how work can be reused, reworked, and built into something new through process and iteration.
Alongside my studio practice, I teach graphic design and digital media, focusing on how people develop ideas, build visual systems, and find their own way of working. Teaching and making are closely connected for me…what happens in the classroom often shows up in the studio, and vice versa.
I also host the Art Life Plan Podcast, where I talk through the realities of creative work…including process, consistency, creative blocks, and what it means to build a life around art and design over time.
This space brings all of that together…studio work, teaching, and ongoing experiments in how to sustain a creative practice.
